Booking software for barbers
Your customers.
Your bookings.
Your website.
Your brand.
Bookings on your own website, under your own name. No marketplace. No commission. No rival shops on the page.
14 days free. Then £79 a month. No card to start.
Made in the UKThe live demo
Not a screenshot.
The booking your customers get, step for step. Make one on the left and watch it land in the shop's diary on the right.
Why bother moving
The subscription is the cheap part.
Marketplace apps do not sell you software. They sell you access to your own customers, and sell your customers access to every other shop.
-
01
Your booking page advertises the shop down the road
Somebody opens the app to book with you and lands in a directory. Nearby shops, cheaper prices, an offer this week. You pay a monthly fee to put your own regulars in front of that.
-
02
The reviews are not yours
Years of five star reviews sit on somebody else's profile. They cannot be moved. The day you leave, they stay. Google reviews are yours for good.
-
03
You are renting your own customer list
Names, numbers and booking history live on a platform you do not control, under terms that can change with an email.
-
04
People learn to book on the app, not with you
Every booking teaches them the app is where haircuts come from. Trimsy teaches them your name instead.
What you get
Everything the shop runs on.
What a six chair shop uses every day. Nothing else.
Your own domain
Booking runs at yourshop.co.uk. Your logo, your prices, your photographs. Nobody else's brand on the screen.
A diary you can read across the room
Day view for the chair, week view for the shop. Big enough to read from the counter, and it updates the second a booking lands.
Pairing codes, not passwords
Pair the shop iPad once. Barbers tap in with a four digit PIN. Nothing to forget, nothing written on a Post-it by the till.
Confirmations and reminders
An email when they book, a reminder the day before, a note if anything changes. Fewer empty chairs on a Saturday.
Card on file for no-shows
Card details are held at booking, not charged. If they do not turn up, you decide whether to charge. Your call, every time.
Book straight from Google
Your Google listing links straight to your own booking page. Somebody searching "barber near me" books in two taps, no app.
Regulars are recognised, not registered
No account, no password, no sign up wall. Book once and the shop remembers you next time.
Your data, on the way out as well as in
Customers, bookings and history export to a spreadsheet any time. No contract, no notice period.
The website, free
Not got one? We build it and host it, free, as part of the monthly price. Quick on a phone, with the booking built in.
Moving over
You do almost none of this.
Switching is the reason most shops stay put. So we do the moving, and you keep taking bookings throughout.
A short call
We go through your services, prices, barbers and hours. No slides and no sales pitch, just enough to know whether this fits.
We set it all up
Services, prices, barbers, rotas, hours and your customer list, loaded in and checked with you. If you need a website, it gets built alongside in your colours, free.
You go live, gently
Keep the old system running until you are happy. Then point Google and your socials at your own booking page and cancel it.
One thing we will not pretend about
Reviews do not transfer. Nobody can move them. So we start you on Google reviews months before the switch, asking every customer and not just the happy ones. By the time the old page goes quiet, the reviews that count are on a profile you own.
Pricing
One price. Per shop, not per chair.
Take on a fourth barber and the bill does not move. Have your best month ever and it still does not move.
First 14 days free
a month after that, plus VAT. No contract, cancel any month.
- Unlimited barbers, unlimited bookings
- 0% commission. Every booking is yours
- Your website built and hosted, free
- Booking pages on your own domain
- Diary, staff, services, rotas and reporting
- Email confirmations and reminders
- Card on file and no-show charging
- Google Business Profile booking link
- Setup, data migration and support
No card to start the trial, and the fortnight is counted from the day your shop goes live rather than from the day you enquire, so setting it up does not eat it. Card payments run through Stripe at Stripe's published UK rate. We add nothing on top.
Not got a website? We build it. Free.
Built for your shop, quick on a phone, with your own photographs, services and prices. The booking is part of it, not bolted on.
No build fee and no hosting bill. The design is already built and tested, so yours is a reskin of it, not a project.
Already have a website?
Trimsy goes on it. Your booking page sits on your own domain and your site links straight into it. Nothing you have already paid for gets thrown away.
Next to a marketplace app
| Trimsy | Marketplace apps | |
|---|---|---|
| Where people book | Your own website | Their app and directory |
| Rival shops on the page | None | Nearby shops shown alongside you |
| Commission on bookings | 0% | Often charged on new clients they send |
| Cost as you add barbers | Flat, the same whatever the size | Usually rises per staff member |
| A website of your own | Built and hosted, free | Not included. Their profile page is not your website |
| Who holds the customer list | You, exportable any time | The platform |
| Where reviews live | Your Google profile, yours for good | Their profile, not portable |
| Contract | None, cancel any month | Varies |
Marketplace terms and prices change, so check their current figures yourself before you decide. Hosting is included for as long as you are a customer, and if you leave the site is yours to take with you.
Questions
Straight answers.
How does the free trial work?
Fourteen days, no card, no contract. You tell us about the shop and we do the setting up, so the trial is you running your actual shop on it, not you evaluating a blank account at eleven at night.
The clock starts the day you go live. Building your site and moving your data takes us a few days and it would be a strange trial that spent itself before you had seen the thing. If you stop at the end, you take your customers and your bookings with you as a spreadsheet and there is nothing to cancel.
Do my reviews come with me?
No, and be careful of anyone who says they do. Reviews left on a marketplace stay there. Instead we start you collecting Google reviews well before the switch, so you build up your own that nobody can take away.
One rule: ask every customer, not just the ones you expect to say something nice. Filtering who gets asked breaks Google's rules and can cost you the listing.
Do I need a website already?
No. If you already have a website, Trimsy goes on it. If you have not, we build you one and host it, free, as part of the monthly price. Plenty of shops come to us with nothing but a Facebook page.
"Free website" usually means a template with somebody else's badge on it. Ours is not. We have already built and tested one properly for a six chair shop, and yours is that design in your colours, your typeface and your photographs. The build is a couple of days, not a couple of months.
What happens to the bookings already in my diary?
We bring them across before you go live, with your services, prices, barbers, hours and customer list. You retype nothing, and the old system keeps running until you are confident.
Will my barbers be able to use it?
The shop iPad is paired once, then each barber taps in with a four digit PIN. Their day is one screen. Most are running it properly inside ten minutes.
How does the no-show charge work?
Card details are taken at booking and held securely by Stripe. Nothing is charged then. If they do not turn up, or cancel inside your window, the booking is flagged and you decide whether to charge the fee.
You set the window and the amount, and the customer agrees to it when they book. It stays your call, because a regular of nine years stuck in traffic is not a no-show.
Where is my data, and who is responsible for it?
Data is held in the UK. You are the data controller and we are the processor, set out plainly in the agreement. Customer records can be exported or deleted on request, which is what UK GDPR requires of you.
What if I want to leave?
You export everything, customers, bookings and history, as a spreadsheet, and you cancel. No contract, no notice period, and no phone call trying to talk you out of it.
Start free
Fourteen days, on us.
No card and no contract. Signing up takes about five minutes: your email, a six digit code, and a few things about the shop. Then we build it, with your services, prices, barbers, hours and customer list brought across, and your website with it.
The fortnight starts the day you go live, not the day you sign up, so the setting up does not eat it. If it is not for you, say so and walk away with your data. If we do not think moving is worth it for your shop, we will tell you that too.
Rather talk to somebody first? Leave your number and we will ring you, or email hello@trimsy.io.
